Who can join?

Anyone who contributes to OpenObserve, except OpenObserve employees. There’s no sign-up: your email identifies you.

Do my points expire?

Never. Spending points on gifts doesn’t lower your level either. Levels are based on the total points you’ve earned.

How is my contribution reviewed?

A person checks every submission. Approved ones add points and update the leaderboard on their own. Rejected ones earn no points, but you can submit the same link again once it’s fixed.

Can I submit the same link twice?

Each link earns points once. Small differences like http vs https or a trailing slash still count as the same link. You can have up to 5 submissions waiting for review at a time.

How do I get my gift?

Pick a gift and send a redeem request. Our support team emails you a Snappy discount code worth the gift’s price. Create a Snappy account, enter the code, add your address, and Snappy ships it.

Do you need my address?

No. We only keep your email, display name, submissions and gift requests. Your address and phone number stay with Snappy.
